scarface

It turned out to be quite an eventful weekend. It was supposed to be all rainy, but the weather managed to hold. However the big winds are supposed to come tomorrow.

Anyways. I got my first set of sitches. 3 of them. Yep. Right on my forehead. I just got too excited in taking a q-tip to the garbage for mommy, and I went head first into the bathroom rad. Ouch. But after a quick lunch of PB&J and Curious George as we waited for the Dr. After a little needle that felt like a bug bite, I was all pacthed up. I got a Clifford sticker for all my troubles. Stay tuned for photos.

In other news I ate my first whole apple. Well half of it. While Dad and I got groceries, I held onto the Paula Red and muched away. It is a lot easier with eye teeth.

A couple of park walks with Dad and Argo, and my Saturday morning swim class with Dad, and that was pretty much it for the weekend.

HAPPY Bday KT

It is Katie's birthday today. I hope someone baked her a cake. Some cake for lunch would hit the spot.

summerlong

Where has the time gone. Good bye Summer 2008 and bring on the Autumn leaves, apple picking, and pumpkins. It was quite an adventure and I had lots of visitors.

So Mom is hanging in. Her belly moves now and I can't wait to see what pops out. I am sure I will get into a lot of trouble with my baby bro in the coming years.

Dad survived his first Atlantic Film Fest. I think it was good that Argo and I were at home and Mom needed some extra attention, or we might not have seen him for 11 nights.

I am feeling a bit better from my last teething round.

In other news:
  • Dad and me started swim classes. I am a "duck" which is the beginner level. Our instructor Alyssa gave me a few high-fives and was really impressed with my "motor boat" kicking.
  • Grammie just visited. We had tons of fun. Really enjoyed showing her the drains and cannons at Point Pleasant Park.
  • Grampie sent the family Michigan "big house" t-shirts for us to wear when there is a "blue" football game on.
  • Nan sent me a new "James" book and Aunt Lindsay sent me "Lady", so Molly wouldn't be the only female engine.
  • Mom took me for a hair cut.

Well I am off to bed as I need a lot of rest. It is a big day for someone on Team KT tomorrow. I heard a rumour that there might be cake.

Under the weather

So I am not feeling that great these days (teeth - molars) and Dad is busy with the film fest, so here are some shots from last month.

Voyageur

Last summer it was kayaks. This summer it is all abou the canoe. Dad took me out for a paddle.

And then it was snack time.

All aboard

On one of our rainy mornings at Salty Rose, Aunt Lisa took Dad and me to the train museum. I was a bit overwhelmed in having to buy a ticket, but once I saw Thomas and Percy, I settled in and it was a smooth ride.

red hood

I am glad I packed my hoodie for the beach. I needed it to stay warm when I played with my "big truck" on the beach.

3rd trimester

Mom enters her 3rd trimester today - whoo hoo! We are coming into the home stretch.

Beach Fest

We got the best weather of the week on our final Saturday afternoon at Salty Rose. It was all surf jams and bucket hats. The tide was out so there was tons of beach to run around on.

I love splashing in the waves. I am all about the salt water now.

I need Grampie to fit me up with a shorter driver and help me with my grip.

Mermaids

Nothing like spending my last day on the beach with a couple of bathing beauties. I think they were diggin' the kid.
