brain bucket

Game on! Dad bought me my very own hockey helmet. Now I can just be like him.

The plan is for Team KT to go skating for the first time tomorrow.

We are going to have to get Team KT hockey jerseys! I am worried that Lyla is going to goon me into the end boards.

fireman small: take II

So Grampie took me to the Frederiction Fire Station. Twice. On our first trip the fireman started giving us a tour, showing us all the fire gear. But then the alarm went off, and he said, "We gotta go!"

I thought he was inviting me to come along for the ride, but he was basically saying that Grampie and I had to stand to the side and watch all the firemen get their gear on. You know they put big boots on just like me.

So since our first trip was cut short, we were invited back. I had a grand time touring all the trucks.

W.

I thought I would share this photo of my lil' bro William. We finally have one of him smiling. I was just telling him a "potty" joke so that's why he is cracking a big smile. Will is doing great. He passed his 8-week Dr. appointment with flying colours, weighing in at 12 lbs., 9 oz.

Team KT: road trip to chester

So last Tuesday Team KT decided to head down to Chester and visit Nan's house. A good time was had by all. It was too cold to go out and look at the bird houses, but I was happy to see that the family of deer were waiting for our arrival.

Halifax to Truro Branch Line

Not sure if everyone is aware, but William, Mom, and me head off to Freddie Beach yesterday. Grampie Newman came down to pick us up, as Dad and Argo had to stay behind. dad is busy at work, and Argo needs to guard the house and keep all of my books safe.

So as part of our trip, Grampie, Baxter (my bunny), and me decided to hop on the train to Truro. We wanted to get our tickets early on Wednesday, but when we went down after our naps, the ticket office was closed. Not to worry. We got some prime seats and had a great time on the train.

Who needs VIA 1 Class.

snow tunnel

Well here I am doing my best impression of train James going through the tunnel at the top of Gordon's hill. Last Saturday we had a beautiful sunny morning and the whole family was playing outside. Mom took William for a walk. Dad and Argo went snowshoeing (and I even got a little ride on Dad's shoulders). Dad made me a snow cave, but then decided it would be more fun to have a snow tunnel. Next time I think we are going to build and igloo.

Happy New Year

William and I just want to wish everyone out there best wishes for 2009. We are both really looking forward to the year ahead and all the adventures we can get into.

wheels on the bus

So when Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Andrew were visiting over the holidays we decided to take a bus ride downtown. I told them that we needed to take the "number one". It was so much fun. We got off at Pete's and then met Dad for lunch. Uncle Andrew bought me a smoothie. I chased it down with a few of Dad's crackers from his chili.
