Stewart men

Getting ready for an afternoon stroll. Jmac is just finishing up some hammering with his rubber mallet.

Snow Beast

After the Johnson Insurance Kiddie Christmas Party, young William decided to check out the snowfall from Friday night.

And quickly learned how slippery it is.

But it tastes pretty good.

Yum - Yum!

He's checking his list...

We have come a long way in a year.... At first William didn't want to even approach Santa... But like his big brother the lure of a box of smarties goes a long way.

After a pizza dinner we saw Santa closing down his station for the night and Will even wished Santa a "bye-bye... good night".

Tassel Hats

Mom cracked out new winter hats for the boys and they were all excited with the tassels on them. (Dad Note: I think we have a hat for every day of the week now).

Tree Stand

Nothing like a little Tuesday night construction project to get in the Holiday spirit. The boys got their tools out to help put up the X-mas tree.

Safety first....

I was impressed that Jmac screwed on the support stand all on his own. (The pilot holes from Dad helped.) And no, the boys didn't use the drill.

Will borrowed James' saw and trimmed some of the branches.

The boys were happy with the tree up. Decorations are on tap for Wednesday night.

Lumberjacks

Last Sunday the family headed down to "tree country" and visited a U-Cut Tree Farm close to Nan's House.

James was pretty excited to find a tree for his room. A "fantastic" idea from his old Nanny that we are "excited" about him turning it into a tradition.

William and James located the perfect tree.

And the boys didn't pass up an opportunity to use one of Grumps' "tools" to help take the tree down.

A very exciting adventure and we didn't even mind the warm temperature and lack of snow.

Dress-up Day

James wore his dress-up uniform to school today so Will wanted to put on "fancy" clothes too.
