Here are some photos from Friday.

James, Mom and Dad went for a late afternoon adventure at the Discovery Centre. When we were done James thought it would be a good idea to visit his favorite candy store just down the street. Freak Lunchbox has this "cool thing" in front of the store and James wanted to be a "big man"
The last few nights Will wants to make a bed on the floor and sleep there. Last night he told us it liked sleeping on the floor because that is what they do at "school" during nap time.

My Own Muffin Recipe

James wanted to do some baking today and decided to make up his own recipe. First we get out all the ingredients, then the mixing bowls and then the measuring spoons / cups.


The ingredients in these special muffins include uncooked lentils, uncooked rice, quinoa, bran wheat, cornmeal, oatmeal, milk, eggs, baking powder, baking soda and a dash of cinnamon for flavour.

Mix it all together, put it in a muffing tin and add a few sprinkles to make them "pretty". Bake them for 20 minutes and voila..... BEAUTIFUL muffins!

Hair Cut !

While everyone loved Will's curls, it was time for a hair cut. He was starting to get major tangles in his hair because he likes to twirl it when he falls asleep at night.

Look how handsome he is now.......



He had a tumble bumble on the stairs earlier this week and has a little cut on his lip :-(

Iron Chef : Oxford Street

Over the Christmas break James and Dad did a tremendous amount of cooking. On this particular occasion he thought that he need a chef's hat and an apron.

You can see that Baxter was acting as his sous chef.


The best part of cooking is stacking the ingredients.



We do have to work on the "clean-up" process of cooking....

William passed his first skating lesson with flying colours. It is scary the fact that he is wearing the skates that James wore when he turned 3.



William was so impressed with the Forum, he has requested his own hockey stick.

J-Mac and the Big Snow

I had quite a willing and able assistant helping me shovel out the driveway yesterday. A very pleasant surprise.


Argo was the perfect supervisor to make sure the path to the car was clear.



It is all about bending the knees, which helps save the lower back.
