Our Final Skating Class

Last Sat was our final skating class (a free skate) at the Forum. We look good on the ice and Jmac earned a certificate for passing "Boots to Blades" !!!

We met our friends Anthony and Anna for a skate too.

Will got bored watching James and Daddy skate so he decided to go for an "adventure".

After skating Anna came for some fancy grilled cheese Sophie and Rich stopped by as well. After our busy morning some TV was in order so the parents could eat their lunch and chat :-) James just wanted the girls to be quiet so he could watch "my show".

Sunday Afternoon Adventure

During Will's afternoon nap, Jmac and I headed out for an adventure to Spring Garden Road. We took the #1 Bus down to Woozles as someone wanted to check out the train table.

It was also mentioned that I need a coffee and we should go to Starbucks. The real reason was the fact that someone wanted to get a chocolate chip cookie. He is like his mother at times.

Starbucks was too busy, so we went local and supported Steve-O-Reno's and enjoyed a coffee and cookie outside on the patio. After our snack it was off to the library for some new books.

And Beast just keeps walking....

This video was taken at Westmount Park yesterday. Will has soooo much fun now that he can walk around the park. Now he just needs to work on speed so that he can keep up with his big brother.



We went to Point Pleasant Park on Saturday for a hike. Such a lovely day!! We even stopped for a snack in "the field".


We wrapped up the weekend with some wrestling with Dad in the man room. Jmac started and then Will and Argo joined in.

William the Walking Machine

Over the weekend Will started to get more and more confident with his walking and on Monday he started walking like he had been doing it for ever. Check out the video!

Man Retreat

So Mom was having a girls night on Friday night, so the boys hit the road afterwork on Friday (thanks to expert packing by Supernanny) and headed down Hwy. 103 to Chester Basin for a "man retreat". After a quick stop at the Save Easy for steaks and "red milk" we hit Nan's house for some trains, baguette and butter, and Thomas DVDs. I wish I could report more, but what happens on man retreats is not up for discussion.

Of course we had to have a hike on Saturday morning after a feed of waffles and blueberries.

Sunny Stroll

Big afternoon yesterday. William walked four whole blocks on his way over to his girlfriend Sophie's house. She was having her 2nd Birthday. The party was a blast. Of course Jmac wanted to have cake and cupcakes. Luckily he was satisfied with just the cupcakes.

Yes it has been awhile since we updated. Lots of things going on in the Stewart household - so the poor blog has suffered. Not too sure about this photo - Mom or KT must have taken it. I am betting the boys are glued to the flatscreen due to some "Kids CBC". How spoiled these guys are with their PVR. I couldn't even imagine being able to watch cartoons on demand.


Not sure if everyone is aware but ol' Jmac has been taking skating lessons on Saturday at the forum. It didn't take him long to get his balance. of course he likes running around in the dressing room with his skates on better than on the actual ice. The big thing to get him from point A to point B are the various logos on the Forum ice. Below he is nearing the end of the lesson and is desperately wanting a "line change".

Much happier last Saturday...

... mainly due to the fact that he had a hot lunch (blind)date with Anna Archibald after skating class.
