My New Tricycle!

Well I have started my New Year's Resoultions early and got out for a jog today with Mom. We started off with Argo but he kept wanting to eat the tire of my new ride. Mom took me for a nice jog. I still have some growing to do before I can fit into my new snowsuit that Nana Stew gave me. Had a chilly walk at Point Pleasant Park this morning with Dad and Argo. We then picked up the car seat adapter so we could use my new stroller (kudos to Aunt Margie). I am just chillin with Dad waiting for the Bell Express Vu dude to show up. He is already a day and a half late. Hopefully we will be able to see the Rose Bowl in HD. Smells like Dad's banana muffins are burning. Gotta split.

Momamia!

So I have been a busy guy these days helping out Mom and Dad with their last minute shopping for Christmas. We already have a few (well lots) of presents under the tree from Fredericton but Mom and Dad have been getting a few more. Here is my boy Argo guarding the tree.

I got an early present from Mom as she bought me my first pair of jeans last Saturday from Old Navy. I think I look pretty cool here. She threw in a hoodie too.I am getting pretty strong and can sometimes hold my head up. I am loving my new BabyBjorn carrier that Mom bought. Even Dad has started carrying me around in it. I now weigh 11 lbs. 10 oz. and I am getting better with my feedings. The past two nights I have also slept in my crib for about 6 hours at a time. I thought it would be a good idea for Mom and Dad to get some rest before Christmas since they have been taking good care of me. Tomorrow is a busy day as I have FitMom class and then we are going to Mom's work for a lunch. Dad is going out drinking (something about a cigar and scotch) and then we are all meeting up for a dinner party at some friend of Mom and Dad. On Friday, Mom's work has a children's Christmas party. I will probably be the star attraction. Nanna and Gramps Stewart arrive on Friday night. I think Argo is really excited to see them. Off to go help Mom with her Christmas baking.

Bah Humbug!?!?

Dad is putting up the Christmas tree. I am learning some new vocabulary. I have also decided to stay out of the way in my bouncy chair.

Writer's Block

So I am not suffering from writer's block. I keep hearing from Mom and Dad that my peeps out there are missing my posts. Well let me tell you it has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. I can see why people call this the busiest time of the year (and I can see why my Gramps Stewart becomes a Grinch!). So between a trip to Fredericton with Mom for a party in honour of me, a couple of visits with the nurses here in Halifax, and helping Dad get over his annual December bout with the flu, I haven't had much time to write.

Let me tell you I had a great trip to Freddie Beach with Mom! I really like road trips. I got all sorts of cool gifts at a shower for me, met a new friend named Oliver, and got to hang out with my Newman Grandparents. I also got to meet Kim's great Aunt Helen. Grandpa Newman also made me a fake ID.

In other cool news I started fitness classes with Mom today. It was really fun. I did OK but I think Mom is going to be sore tomorrow.

Notes from the Dog Pound!

Well my little bro James asked me to make a blog entry as he is chillin in Fredericton with Mom. It has just been Dad and me since Wednesday and we have had a pretty cool time. I finally had the house to myself during the day so I could put my paws up and relax. It also meant that I got a peanut butter bone as Dad went off to work. dad has been pretty good to me. I think he misses James and Mom, but we have been busy with walks. Wednesday night he took me to the commons and I had a great play in the snow with some puppy dogs I never met before. We then made some popcorn and watched Miami Vice on the couch. Not that great of a movie. I fell asleep on Dad's lap. On Thursday, Dad had an office party so I had a walk with my gal Winnie and her dad Fraser. Dad did come home before his party so we could have a drink and some kibble together.

Last night we met Winnie and Fraser at Westmount field and had an awesome time playing in the snow storm. Fraser and Dad got cold so we went home early. Winnie then invited me and my other gal bootsie over to her house for a dinner party. The parents ate curry while we played in the snow. We also got caught stealing goats cheese off the coffee table. Petty fun night as we got to stay up late.

This is a photo of me during my first snow storm as a puppy. I love the snow. Mom and James are home tomorrow so there should be all sorts of news from their trip.

My First Snow Storm!

Quite the day yesterday in Halifax. We had our first snow of the season and what a dump. It took everybody by surprise and caused a traffic nightmare. Mom and Dad had me at the hospital for a check-up and it took us 1.5 hours to get home (it should take 10-15 minutes). We almost missed Argo's vet appointment. Speaking of which, Argo has his appointment in the dark as the vet had no power. It was kinda cool that they stayed open for him, but the nice Vets said really they ahd no place to go as Quinpool Rd. was a parking lot.

Sorry that it has been awhile since I posted. I have been keeping Mom and Dad busy. And it took Dad an hour to shovel the snow last night. I can't wait until I can go out and help him. I think I will like the snow. Argo sure went crazy for the white stuff. He was jumping and rolling all through the backyard. We had a bit f a busy weekend. We went for a family walk on Saturday and I helped Dad make some shortbread cookies. On Sunday Kath and Kate came to visit us. I like her choice of pacifier. Dad made us all blueberry pancakes. Well I didn't have any, I kept Argo company on the floor.

Mom and I are off to Fredericton tomorrow. I think there is another party for me. Dad and Argo are staying home. Dad has to work and Argo is going to keep him company. We are taking the car, but I am sure they will have some fun. Well I am off to go nap.

Friday Night Lights!

Not much news to report here in Halifax. I have been pretty busy getting my Christmas shopping list ready. I have been really spoiled over the past month, so I can't image that Christmas would top my birthday. Mom and I survived dad's trip to Saint John (thanks to the help of Kim's Aunt Margie). I pretty much knew we would be ok without Dad. I can't believe where the time goes but I have a pretty day of sleeping, feeding and walking with Argo. Not much else is planned for the weekend other than cleaning the house and doing some X-mas cards and baking. Dad tells me we might have snow by the start of next week.
