smiles

Young William is all smiles these days. Now all we have to do is practice his rolling over. The poor guy is rolling on to his tummy at night and then gets stuck. I think Jmac will have to teach him some "crayon" rolls from gymnastics.

solo artist

KT is on her summer hiatus - so it is just Mom, Jmac, Will, and Argo for the next two months. I am sure they will get into all sorts of trouble.

start of summer

Jmac was entertaining his gal pal Sophie the other night and they decided that blowing some bubbles would be fun. It seems Argo had to sniff out to see if the bubble mix had gone bad over the winter.

Jmac was telling me that Baxter (his bunny) wanted to go to work with me today and that James should come along as well. I told him that Film NS has a strict no jammies policy, so he and Baxter decided otherwise.

Father's Day weekend was quite eventful as someone decided to stick a rock up their nose. So Jmac and Mom went on an "adventure" to the IWK from Chester to get said pebble extracted. Two observations from Jmac:
1) He commented that the Doctor had a "good booger picker".
2) He also liked the Doctor as she had Thomas the Train stickers.

Supernanny likes dressing the boys up in matching shirts. Go Team Stewart.

Here are the Stewart men after a hike down to the dock at Nan's house.

chef at home

Jmac is getting quite good at helping with our Sunday morning tradition of waffles. Here is stirring up a batch on Father's Day. Is he going to be a lefty?

fathers day

Jmac has been telling me all week, "Daddy I have a big present for you for Father's Day."
I just hope that on Sunday will be sponsored by the colour red - meat, wine, and Tiger on the leaderboard.

success

Well the Sid the kid was not the only one from Nova Scotia who was rewarded this week. This kid had a great week by completing his "potty chart" - collecting stickers for every "success". Opening up Peter Sam was like lifting Lord Stanley's mug at the end of Game 7. Looks like the months of reading all those potty books have paid off.

The reward was even sweeter this morning as it involved us running upstairs to the batthroom from the man room.

Time to start chart #2.

Don't you know?

Real men colour with their shirts off. And wear plaid.

so how long...

do you think this cage will hold the beast from the east? William is looking quite dapper in his overalls and the morning sunlight. He was all dressed up as he had a morning date with Mom and Argo at Point Pleasant Park for some "fit-mom" action.

se7en months

The Beast turns 7 months today and is a real happy camper these days. Clapping his hands, smiling, sitting up, and reaching for everything.

legos

Frank Llyod Wright doesn't have anything on Jmac.

Team KT updates

Just got these photos sent to me by Supernanny. I think someone is going to check out if "there is trouble up ahead".

"I'm happy to be on the ferry."

the 2 amys

So Archie has Betty and Veronica, the Boys Stewart the 2 Amys. Both Amys are friends of KT and both Jmac and Will (and even Argo) just adore them.

Will measuring how much he loves Amy Mac.

And the Beast acting all cool enjoying some Chardonnay with Amy H.

birthday beast

Will got some beastly horns at Lyla's birthday party. He doesn't seem to happy that he gets a baby mum-mum vs. a pink cupcake. Them the brakes!

steal my kisses

It was Lyla's 3rd birthday party last sunday. It was a fun event with bubbles, face painting, and yummy cake. Jmac was all about the cake. But he did manage to find time to give the birthday girl a kiss. It must have been all that 'passion fruit' juice he chugged in the corner.

Of course the birthday girl wasn't too impressed with Jmac's pretzel breath.

green thumb

Well last Tuesday we decided it was time to go plant a garden at Nan's house. So we went down to Chester for the day (and good thing we did as we haven't had any sun since) and had a good day playing in the dirt.

Will was a good supervisor of the project from his "desk".

I relayed the messages from Will to Mom on where to plant the flowers and vegetables.

I was quite impressed with our work.

And of course I got to push Gramp's lil' green wagon.

'nastics

That's it for gymnastics until September. I will miss Carlene over the summer, but I told her I would continue to practice my "pikes".

adventures @ new ross

The Stewart Family spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at New Ross Farm. J-Mac was in his element exploring all of the barns and trails.

Will was a good trooper enjoying the first outing in the back carrier.

who needs Cody?

Everybody knows that J-Mac has Baxter his bunny. Well Will hasn't really grasped that he has one of Baxter's buddies, Cody the dog, to cuddle with. It seems Grampie makes the perfect cuddle toy. I am not sure who tired out who.

the pumpkin planters

The Boys Stew became farmers yesterday, as they each planted some pumpkin seeds at New Ross Farms. Plot #274 and #275 are earmarked for the Stewart Boys. We left the plots in the good hands of the farmers at New Ross, although we might come back and check on the progress over the summer. We can hardly wait for September 20th, when our pumpkins will be ready for harvest. Stay tuned.

outstanding in his field

J-Mac finding his own path as we explored New Ross Farm.

nan's nan's couch

Check out the Stewart men enjoying story time on Nan's couch - that is actually her Nan's couch. We all think it lost its comfort 100 years ago. But it is pretty effective for reading Mother Goose.
