Lyla was so excited to see me again she tackled me. She must have learned this move in Guadalupe. I have coined this "finishing move" the Guadalupe Grip.

Conrads

With the mercury rising here in Halifax, Katie saddled Argo and me up in the Subaru and we headed out to the beach. I gotta say that now I am stable on my feet, I love the sand and the surf. We had to wear a warm jacket and toque as the ocean breeze was sorta cool.


I am thinking Argo is going to be really helpful in building sand castles this summer. He moves a lot of earth.

Spring Has Sprung

Yes Spring is in the air here in the 902! Which means I am constantly bugging Katie to take me to the park so I can swing on the zings! It is so cool now I can go outside in my shoes and sweater without a hat and mitts. Although, I still go grab my boots whenever I hear the word park.


So now that the warm weather is here, I have to make sure that I am in tip top shape for the beach and pool. I have begun a morning routine of lifting. I usually do upper body on Mon., Wed., and Fri. It is all about the legs on Tues. and Thurs. I find I get a much better workout in the morning.

I like a woman...

Who challenges me intellectually (and it doesn't hurt to have cute looks as well). Yes, you got that right. I am not sitting on the sidelines with Lyla on vacation. I am going to be sick next week with all her stories of cute guys in "swimmers" on the beach.

ROCKstar

Move over Paris, J-Mac makes these shades look good. I am such a rockstar. I hope Mom gets me a cool pair of shades so I can walk the walk at the pool this summer.

Road to the Final Four

Please keep this quiet but Katie has been training me on my baby hook shot. I am going to impress Mom one day with my court skills. I understand it is all about the footwork. I can't wait until I can play some ball oustide. Maybe Dad will put a net up in the backyard.

Popsicle Pete

So with Lyla still away on her vacation south, I have decided to really kick it man style. That's right, I told Katie that no Lyla equals no shirt.


I have a bad feeling that Katie is going to institute a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy.

It was a rainy day yesterday so we decided to crack out the finger paints. I believe Jackson Pollock had his start with finger paints. Katie was pretty proud that I didn't want to eat the paints.


I got sooo creative I didn't need my art assistant.
