Snow Day !

Lots of snow in Halifax today and the city has pretty much shut down. They say it is about 25 cm but it seems like a lot more. Thanks to Rich for helping Mom shovel out the driveway!!!!

While Rich was shoveling, Sophie joined the boys for some lunch.

Happy V-Day Dad !

Daddy is in Germany for work so we though we would send him a special Valentine's Day message.

Will didn't have much to say but he misses Dad too.

So does Argo !

I Look Like Grumps !

On an outing in Chester this morning Jmac wanted to wear Grumps' hat. This is what he had to say about it.

I Want to Feed Myself

Will insists on feeding himself these days and as you can see he is pretty good with a spoon and sippy cup. It takes a few tries, but he finally figures out how to get his spoon back in the applesauce.

Thomas the Tank Engine

When Mom gets home from work the boys get to watch one episode of Thomas while she gets dinner ready. Will wants to have a "special cuddly blanket" just like his big brother.

Welcome Rachel !

James, Will and Argo have a new cousin. Rachel Anna Newman Baumgartner was born on January 17th. Here is a video of James talking about his new cousin...well he did as soon as I hit "stop".



Will was so excited about his new cousin he wanted to give Argo a hug and then DANCE ! We are doing lots of dancing in our living room to Toddler Toons. Will's version of dancing is spinning on his bumb.

Stairs, Stairs, Stairs

William loves stairs! Everyone, especially Supernanny, is very happy that Will no longer has to be carried up and down the stairs. He weights a TON!

Here is a video of him going up the stairs in Chester. His goal is to get upstairs to the "train office".

Weekend in Chester

We spent a lovely family weekend at Nan and Grumps' Chester house on January 23 & 24th. The weather was amazing and we spent a lot of time outside with our snowshoes on. Here we are trekking down to the water.

This is the gorgeous view we discovered when we arrived at the dock.

Dad was the lucky one that got to carry the Beast !

"Why is there soooooooo much ICE Dad?"

After all of the fresh air, it was time for some work inside infront of the fire. Looks like Will wanted some of Dad's hot chocolate.

And James thought the floors needed to be cleaned!

A real fight broke out when Will climbed up James' favorite step ladder.

We also did lots of sledding. Nan and Grumps have the perfect sledding hill in their front yard. Argo wants to go in the sled too.

Back up the hill ! Good thing Dad is strong.

Will loves his sled too !

Snow Beast

Unlike his older brother at 14 months, Beast loves the snow!!! The best part of this video is the proud expression on his face when he finally makes it to the top of the "mountain".

Yummy Goldfish

Will is such a big boy now. He sits at my table and just like me and Dad, he loves Goldfish.

Crazy Forts !!

Family Skating

I am learning to skate so we had a family outing to Ardmore Park Rink on January 17, 2010. It started out a little rocky despite Mom's efforts. Will loved crawling on the ice though.

Super Dad to the rescue !!!

And finally I got it all on my own!!

Will got bored with the ice and decided the slide was way more fun.
