Nan's house

It was a busy Saturday here in Halifax. The Stewart men (including Gramps) went down to Sandy Cove to check out Nan's house. We had a few stops along the way. Gramps saw an ad for Blundstone boots while we were doing Saturday papers and coffee, so we searched out some for Gramps. I know Dad likes his, but I told Gramps real men wear Curious George yellow boots. We also made a stop at Sears Home to look at some chairs for Nan, as she is back in Toronto packing things up for her Sandy Cove property.

After all our stops, we made it to Nan's house just before lunch. Argo and I were busting at the seams to get out of the car and go for a hike. When we pulled into the driveway there was a deer eating some apples from Gramps' apple tree. Dad said we had to be really quiet. I haven't learned how to do that yet.

After we hiked around the property looking for the deer, I had to help Gramps repair the light I checked out.

We had a nice picnic of beer and PB sandwiches.

And a trip down the South Shore isn't complete without cleaning up and checking out the compost. Give a hoot. Don't pollute.

Rainy monday

Grammie and Grampie hit the highway after breakfast this morning. Mom was back in bed as she did too much over the weekend. So the Stewart men put on their all weather gear and headed to the park. We found some good trails and puddles to play in.

I, of course, had to check out the red fire hydrant.

I was pointing out Argo's business for Dad to pick up.

Not sure who has more fun in the rain. Argo (who turned four on Saturday) or me.

Grammie and Grampie were here this weekend for turkey dinner. In order to build up a big appetite I decided to take them on a hike at Long Lake. Argo and Putney had a blast. Grammie was amazed at my hiking ability. Grampie was inspired with all the rocks around and might considering doing a painting or two.

I picked this trick up from my spiderman book.

And what would a trip be without investigating a drain or too (or a garbage can for that matter).

Less than one week until Dad and me go see Thomas in person. Whoo hoo.

Happy Turkey Day

I am into my lego these days. Dad and I built a real funky tower.

Mac attack

Did you know last weekend I ate my first whole apple. You got it. Grabbed it right out of the grocery bag and had one for my snack.

It is a good thing too. Off to the valley tomorrow as Team KT is going apple picking. Whoo. Hoo.

Stitches

Sorry for the delay. We had a few technical issues around the home office. But without further ado, here are the famous "bar fight" photos.

You don't want to see how the radiator made out. Let's just say I got the better end of the deal.

Even more photos

I really enjoyed my morning hike with Argo and Dad at Long Lake on Sunday morning.

Nothing like enjoying the morning dew on the grass in your PJs.

I am getting used to cuddles in a bed, as I will be moving to my big boy room soon.

Pictures

You want pictures. Well here we go. Real men play trains with their shirts off.

My shoes would be so much easier to put on if I didn't have the dreaded Stewart high arch.

A mossy rock makes a great spot to stop for snack.

This path was no trouble at all. I really like hiking.

Dad made me collect some sticks so we could throw them for Argo.
