Lowly Worm !

Supernanny Katie lent us a really cool Richard Scarry Craft Book over the weekend and James and Mom decided to make a Huckle Cat puppet and a Lowly Worm doll. The puppet didn't turn out very well but Lowly looks just like he does on Busytown Mysteries. All we need is some red ribbon to make a necktie for him.

Yardworks

It is Saturday and that means "construction time". The boys decided that the weather was perfect to fertilize the lawn...

And of course check the "dirt levels"....

Bedtime Books

James now insists that he read to Baxter before bed now. It comes at no surprise that Richard Scary is Baxter's favourite too!

Public Works Dept.

One of the rare occasions that the boys are actually playing together.

Bend it like Baxter

Saturday morning "kicked-off" the start of Jmac's kiddie kickers class. The instructors were shocked to find out he only turned 3 in November. Will got to check out the floor before the class started.

While the photos don't show it below, Jmac does need to practice the #1 rule of soccer - "NO HANDS."

I scream

Seems that the boys were off to grab an ice cream cone with Nanny Nicole before meeting Mom at the bus stop.

Backyard Play

Here are a few shots of the Boys Stewart playing in the back yard over the weekend.

Hike at Long Lake

On Easter Monday we went for a family hike at Long Lake. The weather in Halifax has been beautiful all weekend and we decided to take advantage of it.

With James in the lead, we hiked into the "middle of the woods".

Will got out of the backpack and played in the sand after his snack.

James enjoys a few goldfish on the beach.

Two thumbs up for the "fast stream"!! We even managed to cross it over some rocks and kept our feet dry.

Argo was thrilled to have a swim. We had a hard time getting out of the water when it was time to leave.

Easter Brunch at Ashburn

We went for Easter brunch at Ashburn Golf Club with Grammie and Grampie. The food was YUMMY!!!!

The Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance!

Will loves that he can walk and checks out the patio.

After brunch James decided to check out the course...and to walk off all the sugar.

The Hunt !!

Easter morning finally arrived and the Easter Bunny did not disappoint.

After opening their gifts and eating some breakfast, the boys went to the backyard to find the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid. Will didn't have a lot of interest but James was a machine at finding the eggs.

Sophie came for the Easter Egg hunt as well and helped James sort the eggs. Some even had chocolate in them!

Easter Egg Decorating

The boys and Mom decorated some eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide.

Will got bored and wanted to color :-)

Bond, James Bond

James is going to be in a wedding this summer. He was trying on his tux to make sure it fits! So handsome.
