a view from the command centre

Nothing new to report from the command centre, other than I had a great weekend with Mom and Dad. Mom took me shopping on Sunday and I had a couple of great walks with Dad and Argo yesterday. I am getting a better hang of the controls within my circle, and I have been practicing in the Jolly Jumper. I am not sure if Mom told everyone, but at my 4 month check in, I am just shy of 18 pounds (and still going strong).

the weekend that was

Well after a huge snow storm last Monday, spring hit the 902 and the Boys Stewart took it in big time. Dad and I rocked out at Kindermusic, while Mom, Will and Argo went for a stroll. We then hung out with baby Sophie, so Rich could put our kitchen cabinets back together. I tried to help with my tools, but decided to stay free and clear. We had the BBQ on 4 times this weekend and Dad even managed to squeeze in two cigars (much to Mom's disapproval).

So I am looking pretty cute here walking at PPP this morning.

Argo and I decided to check out the monument. Notice the dirt on Argo. Mom wasn't too happy.

The warm weather meant spring clean-up. I was more than willing to get reacquainted with my pal the "compost" after a long harsh winter. I did some good work raking the front yard.

Even Argo got to chillax on the front steps.

And here is TBS (The Boys Stewart) having a group hug with Mommy.

pool party

I know you can't really tell from this photo, but I had a blast swimming for the first time. So much more enjoyable than taking a bath. Jmac even taught me how to do motor boats in the water.

big rig

Well it is a beautiful pre-spring day here in Halifax. I am about to head off for a nap, but Dad and I have been slipping on our blog posts, so here are I am playing with my scraper at Nan's house.

Pretty cool jammies, eh?

blankie too

It seems someone is copying their big brother and adopting the need for a blankie too. But really. Can you blame him.

bogganing

I forgot to mention a few weeks back, we bought a sweet new ride to use at Nan's house. Well its not really new. It is an old school woodden 'boggan. Dad even bought wax, so we got going pretty fast and crashed into the bushes. So much fun.

Its back!

We are please to report that William has graduated into the command centre - a.k.a. the circle of neglect.

And yes, Will got so excited he decided to spit up his lunch all down his sweater. Mom and Dad forgot the neccessaty accessory for the first couple of visits to the exer-saucer (a bib!).

Rickety Bridge

This is a shout out to Grammie Newman that I can't wait to explore all those covered bridges in New Brunswick this summer.

what's will doing?

You know my little brother William is growing so fast. I have a strange feeling that he is going to be bigger than me one day. He is doing really well these days - Mom and Dad are happy that he is sleeping at least 10 hrs. overnight. Now if only I would do the same.

Will is really enjoying time in his bouncy chair. It wont be long until we crack out the jolly jumper and the good ole "command centre".

I took the Dartmouth Ferry

So last week Mom and I headed out on our own adventure. We look the ferry ride over to the Dartmouth library. The ferry ride was really fun. I still like my bus ride on the #1, but this was a nice change. It was pretty foggy and bumpy. I can't wait for the summer, so I can ride on top.

In case you haven't noticed, I am sporting a new 'doo these days. Helps mitigate my awful hat head.
