The beast is getting ready to hit the streets for some trick or treating. And of course he has his trademark one shoe off.

This past Monday Jmac accompanied Nan to the Rosedale Day School so he could see "Nan's school" and check out what its like to be a Kindergarden student. Not only did he enjoy the activities in the class, he really enjoyed checking out Nan's "school" office.

It was nice to get comments from the passengers around us on Porter Airlines on how well behaved the Boys Stewart were.

As you can see Cody enjoyed the complimentary beer.


On our return to Halifax, Jmac woke up just in time to visit with Curtis (the pilot) on the ground in Ottawa. Curtis was happy to meet Baxter as well and as a good pilot should, suggested to James that he visit the potty as it is a long flight to Halifax.

The Beast enjoyed looking out the window while on the ground in Ottawa.

He was also a big fan of the in-flight reading material.

Jmac prefered "doing stickers" and make a beautiful "air sickness" bag for his supernanny.

The Boys Stewart had a tremendous getaway to Toronto this past weekend to visit Nan at her Toronto house and to see Grumps in rehab. Both boys travelled really well (slept on the airplane) and are big fans of Mr. Porter and his airplanes. More photos from the weekend to come.

Jammed packed weekend with me flying up to Toronto to visit with Nan and Grumps and then back to the 902 for some turkey boob on Sunday. I had a quick visit with Grammie and Grampie as they were down visiting with the boys while I was in the big smoke.

Some interesting parrallels this weekend. Spent Friday and Saturday with grumps trying to get him to improve his foot work with his walker (less shuffle and bigger steps). And then on Monday at the park with Will, I was holding him up and he took his first couple of steps with me holding him.

Fingers are crossed we can get Grumps to rehab this week so he can get moving.

So no pictures today, just some of the magical conversations that I have with my son.

"Daddy is there pre-school today?"

"No James, its Wednesday. Pre-school is Tuesday and Thursday. Katie is coming today. I am sure you will have fun with Katie."

"I don't want Katie to come. She takes me to all of those bad wonderful places .... where I have fun with my friends."

And the other morning.

"Can I come downstairs with you to pee Argo?"

"Yes."

"Well you better turn on all the lights. Its all dark and spooky and scary down there. I don't want Argo to be all scared."

Pumpkin Pals

Well I have to apologize that the blog posting has been few and far between these days. With Grumps being in the hospital and Jmac and the Beast starting to interact together [fight] it has been a busy fall.

That being said we managed to get down to New Ross Farm to harvest the pumpkins we planted last May.
