Yesterday we headed to the south shore on our annual Christmas tree cutting outing. A few friends joined us at Ernie's U-Pick in Chester Basin and then we went back to Nan and Grumps' for lunch and a play.
We hiked the tree lot to find the perfect tree. It was a cool day but Will refused to wear his jacket so we decided to just go with it....
Here it is....the perfect tree ! Dad and James "did teamwork" to cut down the tree. Here they are sawing back and forth. T-I-M-B-E-R
James was very proud of himself.
Will said he wanted the turtles on his shirt to see all of the "nice trees".
With the tree cut, it was time to head back to the car (via the bundling machine) and then back to Nan and Grumps' for some lunch. Stay tuned to see a photo of our tree "all dressed up".
